In the Central African Republic, Malaria is the most common death cause in young children. The difficult access to health care leads to many deaths or serious development issues for hundreds of thousands of people in the country.
The treatment of Malaria for a child costs about 5000 CFA ( 8 Euros). For people living in Bangui Malaria treatment is offered for free by MSF but only a few kilometers outside of the City, because of the lack of public transportation, treatment of Malaria is almost impossible and many patients remain untreated.
Echra wants to engage so-called Malaria Buses for free mobile Malaria treatment and health support in distant regions.
Echra plans to take over Busses from the UN and transform them into Malariabuses.
We target to build 7 Malariabuses within 2023.
