Claudia, Bangui

THE FOUNDER OF THE ECHRA INITIATIVE

In 2016, shortly after the end of the Central African Republicโ€™s civil war, Claudia traveled to Bangui, planning to stay for a couple of months and set up a business operation. The conflict had left the nation in turmoil, with widespread violence and instability. After landing at the M'Poko airport in Bangui and driving to the city, she saw the vast and unimaginable suffering of the people at the UN-established area for the displaced. During her visit, Claudia witnessed the profound challenges faced by the local population, including malnutrition, disrupted education, and a devastating lack of healthcare. Moved by the people's resilience amidst such adversity, she felt compelled to act. This pivotal experience led her to establish the Echra Initiative, adding another layer of her impact in the Central African Republic.

She stayed for almost a year, using her established connections, expanding her businesses, and addressing the critical needs of African communities, street children, children's health care, and malnutrition.

This journey and impact evolved into more than caring and trying to address issues in one country. Claudia assembled a team and partnered with experts who share a common path of making change possible to develop strategies, concepts, and action plans to address the fundamental basics with programs for education, health, and malnutrition in Africa.
