HOW IT ALL BEGAN
In 2016, shortly after the Central African Republic’s civil war, Claudia traveled to Bangui, planning to stay for a couple of months and set up a business operation. The conflict had left the nation in turmoil, with widespread violence and instability. During her visit, Claudia witnessed the profound challenges faced by the local population, including malnutrition, disrupted education, and a devastating lack of healthcare. Moved by the people's resilience amidst such adversity, she felt compelled to act. This pivotal experience led her to establish Echra, adding another layer of her impact. She stayed for almost a year, using her established connections to address the critical needs of African communities.
